  *   Performed deterministic & probabilistic reserve/resource reviews for offshore Brazilian
      Oil & Gas Fields.

  *   Performed a 3P reserve review for an offshore Nigerian Oil Field.

  *   Built economic spreadsheet models (tax-royalty & PSC), and performed economic evaluations in        support of asset acquisition opportunities (Continental Shelf of the Gulf of Mexico, the United               Arab Emirates).       

  *    Performed Monte Carlo probabilistic oil and gas recovery estimates for deep-water Gulf of                   Mexico prospects and discoveries (East Breaks, Alaminos Canyon, Keathley Canyon,                         Walker Ridge, and Mississippi Canyon protraction areas).

  *   Directed production optimization activities for an onshore Mexico project.

  *   Performed a Brazil exploration scoping study, correlating reservoir and production parameters to        stratigraphic sequences.

  *   Performed a scoping study to identify upside potential in a mature Argentina oil field.

  *   Performed field studies, reserve estimates, and economic evaluations for several Trinidad oil              fields.

  *   Performed probabilistic recovery estimates, economic evaluations (using PEEP), and decision          tree expected value analysis for a 20,000' Anadarko Basin tight gas exploration prospect.

Producing Operations Representative for Texaco's International Business Development Group. Identified and pursued acquisition opportunities in support of Texaco's strategic objectives. Evaluated assets in the Far East, Middle East, Australasia, Africa, India, South America, and Eurasia. Participated in corporate acquisition and divestiture activities.

  *   Provided detailed analysis and direction in the Joint Operating Agreement negotiations for the           $1.1 B Malampaya acquisition (Philippines). Received Texaco's. Outstanding Individual                       Contributor Award for this effort.

  *   Coordinated the $115 MM sale of  Texaco's Trinmar assets (Trinidad).  Activities included                   economic and financial valuations, SHE audits, and the preparation of the Information                           Memorandum and Purchase & Sale Agreement.  Received Texaco's Outstanding Individual                Contributor Award for this effort.

  *   Evaluated regional assets of 2-International Integrated E&P Companies and 4-Large                            Independent E&P Companies as part of corporate acquisition efforts. These companies we                valued from $8 B to $13 B.

  *   Evaluated and prepared formal proposals for several asset and smaller company acquisition               opportunities valued from $200 MM to $3.0 B ( $7.4 B Total).

  *   Led Texaco's evaluation of Repsol YPF’s Indonesia Asset offering. Evaluated assets, developed        economic model, and recommended a “no-bid” stance to management ($700 MM).

General Superintendent Operations

Managed the producing operations in the Partitioned Neutral Zone (420 wells, 300 MBOPD), including the direct supervision of 4 - Division Superintendents responsible for reservoir engineering, production engineering, well & facility maintenance, and crude oil processing operations. Total Operations Department consisted of 300 personnel.

  *   Established a Department Performance Management System with performance measurement            tracking, aligning employee goals with Division, Department, and Shareholder goals.

  *   Managed annual CAPEX & OPEX of $ 10 MM and $32 MM, respectively.

  *   Increased production by 63 MBOPD through workovers, pump optimization, and equipment                downtime reduction.

  *   Implemented Safety Awareness Programs including regularly scheduled Safety Meetings and             H2S Awareness Training.

1996-1997      Texaco International Ltd                       PNZ, Kuwait
Superintendent Petroleum Engineering

Managed the production engineering operations in the Partitioned Neutral Zone. Activities include the proposal & implementation of workovers, artificial lift design & installation, corrosion control, the operation of a petroleum laboratory, and the preparation of budget forecasts & AFE's for these activities. Supervised a staff of 40 personnel.

  *   Implemented 44 workovers at a cost of $4.2 MM, resulting in production gains of  24 MBOPD.

  *   Initiated a comprehensive down-hole pump optimization program which identified all pump                  optimization opportunities, prioritized opportunies according to production gains and costs,                 scheduled project implementation, and monitored project results.     
                     
  *   Implemented 63 pump optimization projects at a cost of $1.9 MM, resulting in production gains of       25 MBOPD.

1995-1996      Texaco Exploration & Technology. Dept.        Houston, TX

Provided operational guidance to technology professionals at Texaco's Technology Center

  *   Evaluated Texaco business unit assets in Indonesia, Trinidad, and USA, and developed                       recommendations for production enhancements.

  *   Estimated and certified reserves for the Natuna Block B Fields in Indonesia
      (399 MMBO, 34 BCF).

  *   Served as Project Manager for a joint Caltex/Pertamina EOR Project Management Training                 Program.

Led the asset development activities in 16 fields, including performing field reviews, estimating oil and gas reserves, identifying well & facility productivity improvement opportunities,  developing short and long term depletion/business plans, and implementing development drilling, workover, waterflood, and producing facility optimization projects. Asset area consisted of 16 fields producing 48 MBOPD, and having 35 MMBOE Proved Reserves, 47 MMBOE Probable Reserves, and 86 MMBOE Possible Reserves. Supervised 5-Petroleum Engineers, 1-Design & Construction Engineer,  3-Geologists, 2-Technical Assistants, and 1-Administration Assistant. Results included under previous position of Head Reservoir Engineer.

Head Reservoir Engineer

Led the reservoir management activities in 89 fields, producing 165 MBOPD & 90 MMCFPD. These fields had booked reserves of 533 MMBO & 241 BCF (Proved), 283 MMBO & 137 BCF(Probable), and 186 MMBO & 53 BCF (Possible). Activities included performing field reviews, estimating oil and gas reserves, identifying well productivity improvement opportunities, developing depletion/business plans, and implementing development drilling, workover, and waterflood projects. Supervised 4-Senior Reservoir Engineers, 7-Reservoir Engineers, and 3-Engineer Assistants.

  *   Generated Development Well Proposals for 153 wells ($91 MM investment, 86 MMBO reserves,        55 MBOPD IP, & $88 MM NPV).

  *   Generated 161 formal workover recommendations for production increase of  36 MBOPD.

  *   Led a team of geophysicists and geologists in the evaluation of gas reserves and deliverability of       several fields located in South Sumatra (2.0 TCF).

  *   Led a team responsible for reorganizing CPI's functional organizations into cross-functional                 asset teams.
